The VC Gallery initiated their Dragon Project by inviting members of Solva Care to their geology and painting session at Angle Bay. Nine members of Solva Care, and four from the VC gallery shared an afternoon of observations and learning about the physical area; making their own paint by crushing ochre rock, mixing it with egg yolk into tempera, and drawing and painting their individual creations. This was followed by lunch at the cafe – a lovely end for a superb get together of of fun, joy and creativity.
